Description
After defeating Lord Voldemort, Harry's life takes a different turn.
Fighting for nearly all his life, child-soldier Harry Potter has no idea how to unwind, and his friends, Hermione and Ron, have no time to babysit his feelings, feeling responsible for cleaning up the Wizarding World following the war.
Alone and still on edge from the PTSD, it isn't long before his relationship with Ginny starts to crumble, the ambitious redhead far too eager to start her life, and not equipped to deal with her depressed husband.
"No hard feelings," he says when she asks if they could see other people. Without her around, however, it isn't long before he picks up the bottle, moving permanently into Grimmauld Place.
Letters from the Auror Department keep coming in, but they're ignored. McGonagall would likely be disappointed with him, but fuck, it's been so long since he was in school.
With no one but Kreacher to give him company, Harry stops taking care of himself and puts on a little weight.
His other friendships soon fall apart, the alcohol making him unpleasant to be around at times, not the mention the change in hobbies between friends.
