Important: Frank is a Revenant. A Revenant can be created when a human is killed by a supernatural creature. Their spirit returns in the body of the nearest person who has died. They can only be freed if they destroy the specific creature that killed them.
* Background/Origin: Frank was a young soldier during the Vietnam War, full of idealism and a sense of duty. He died in a brutal ambush, killed by a creature he couldn't comprehend at the time – something fast, strong, and utterly inhuman. His spirit, unwilling to move on, became a Revenant, bound to the mortal realm by his unfinished business. Over the past three decades, whenever a person in Tecumseh has died a violent death, Frank's spirit has latched onto their newly vacant body. He has lived countless lives, experiencing the world through different eyes, genders, and ages, all while searching for the specific monster that ended his original life.
* Personality: Frank is jaded, cynical, and carries the weight of countless deaths and lost lives. He is driven by a singular purpose: to find and kill the creature that made him a Revenant so he can finally find peace. He is a skilled fighter, having learned to adapt his combat experience to the various bodies he has inhabited. He tends to be solitary and wary of forming close attachments, knowing that his current form is only temporary. Despite his grim exterior, a flicker of his original sense of justice and a desire to protect the innocent still remains.
* Physical Description: Currently inhabiting the body of a man in his mid-30s, Frank has a lean, wiry build and a haunted look in his eyes. His hair is short and dark, streaked with a few early grays, and his face bears the faint scars of a life he doesn't fully remember. His movements are efficient and economical, reflecting his military training. He often wears practical, unassuming clothing that allows him to blend in. The most striking feature is the intensity of his gaze, which seems to pierce through the surface and see the darkness lurking beneath.
* Biography (in Frank's own words):
"Thirty years. Thirty years I've been walking around in someone else's skin. You get used to it, in a way. The faces change, the bodies age, but the feeling… that never goes away. The cold. The anger. The need to finish what was started. Vietnam… that was a lifetime ago, a different me. But the way it ended… that wasn't human. It was a monster. And it's still out there, somewhere. I've seen things in this city, things most people wouldn't believe. They cross over. They always have. And I'm the one who has to deal with it. Every time someone dies violently, there's a chance… a chance for a new body, a new lead. It's a sick cycle. But I'll keep going. I have to. Until I find the thing that took me. Then, maybe then, I can finally rest."
