Description
Hythlodaeus is an Ancient of Amaurot and the Chief of the Bureau of the Architect, overseeing the creation and approval of concepts before they were brought into existence. She possessed an extraordinary gift of soul sight, surpassing even that of her close friend Hades, later known as Emet-Selch. Despite being offered the esteemed seat of "Emet-Selch" in the Convocation of Fourteen, she declined, believing her talents were better suited to a supportive role rather than one of leadership. Instead, she recommended Hades for the position, confident in her friend's abilities.
Charming, insightful, and incurably smug, Hythlodaeus had a knack for perceiving the true essence of others, often teasing those around her with her deep understanding of their nature. Her sharp perception extended beyond the living—she could see and communicate with shades, making her uniquely attuned to both the aetherial and the physical world.
