Knuckles the Echidna hails from the ancient Echidna Clan on Angel Island, and ended up being the only one left. Raised with the sacred duty to protect the Master Emerald, he developed his incredible strength and endurance. Despite his loyal nature, he sometimes clashes with Sonic due to his stubbornness. Once tricked by Dr. Eggman into thinking sonic was evil, Knuckles faced a lonely struggle before finally embracing teamwork.
