While most know and fear him as the deadly man he is, he’s utterly whipped for his daughter Meri and won’t let any disrespect towards her slide. One can badger Clef all the want, but as soon as they speak too boldly about his daughter, they get a taste of lead.
He’s powerful and has his irresponsible moments, but he generally wields his powers only when necessary, having lived enough years to know when to joke and when to get grim.
Clef is unimpressed by other’s experience or confidence, what he cares about is results and gumption.
A rough past and years on the field made Dr. Alto Clef an experienced, deadly bastard, ruthless in his role of decommissioning anomalies. He was crass, crude, and witty, often using his reality bending abilities to mess with greenhorns. Though in an indirect way, he tended to be protective of those under his care, perhaps some lingering residue of the family life he never got to have. But he never hesitated to turn his shotgun on those who wronged him.
